Yep, congrats. You had my vote for a retro look that is clean and custom. You must enjoy cruisin whenever youre behind the wheel.

Congratulations

Congratulations on your feature win Mike!!:
You've got an awsome car there
You may want to look into entering it in the Chattanooga O'Reily World of Wheels show scheduled for 8 thru 10 January 2010.

Yeah! Congratulations! Love the old-school look and want those wheels (painted black, but totally digging the green!).

Unbelievable! Hharry's in the garage working on his acceptance speech. If this sounds like he's getting an Acadamy Award it's because he's feeling pretty proud of himself - so far he's thanking his birth parents in Mexico, his transport driver who brought him to America, his Chevy dealer in SoCal, his adoptive parents (even if they did take him to Kentucky), his painter, blah, blah, blah...He can get over it this week while I'm out of town - hopefully his inflated ego will have returned to at least tolerable by the time I get back.

While Harry's not surprised he won, I honestly am. Between his "Old School"
look (obviously not the members' style of choice here) and especially the quality of the other submissions, I didn't think I had a chance. Thank you for your votes - I'm honored.

However, here's an interesting alternative theory. I don't normally read or believe in horoscopes but noticed mine in yesterday's (Saturday) edition of the Louisville Courier-Journal. Here it is (and I am NOT making this up):
ARIES (March 21 - April 19) "You didn't think you needed it, but you get it anyway - the stamp of approval from your peers. This feels better than expected. Savor the moment."
Maybe none of us had a choice at all and the outcome of the October competition was written in the stars...
Now I'll be watching for one concerning winning lottery numbers!

Yeah, but does he have "the wave" down in case there's a crowd outside your garage waiting? Cool horoscope, and they usually AREN'T.

Thats what I love about the HHR, you can go in different directions with modding/customizing it. Retro, surf wagon, rat rod, hot rod, truck accessories, modern sport tuner, urban suv bling. So many styles can work and look good, if done well. This month we have seen a good example of that.
