Featured submissions?

Just what are we voting on anyway? The actual cars or fancy photos with nice backgrounds?

i think we should vote on the Car itself and how well the car is presented with its surrondings...

even if you had a really nice car, i dont think a driveway picture is vote worthy if you catch my drift.

Yeah, I guess if I didn't promote NorCal I might have finished in 4th! Even though I finished third in the vote I wouldn't trade my Plain Old Silver Panel for either one of the two HHR's that finished ahead of me!

i love your silver panel , its a sweet looking car.
if i had to get a hhr again , it would be a panel
and in silver/white. black is tough to keep clean.
i wash it 2-3 times a week now and it still dirty.

Hey Paul, I can see your point but here in California most property if not residential is commecial or industrial! Majority Parking Lots! To find an area with a nice back drop, usually here in California it has a parking lot attached to it! Yours and the SS were the total package in presentation and mine lacked in the photo area! I think even if I had the two of yours quality of photos I still would have placed third because of my Panels Low Key approach ! But for anyone to insinuate that I received votes because of my location is total B.S.

I'm sure if Paul enters enough times eventually he will win, the Odds will be in his Favor! I know the amount of work I have in my HHR and just wanted to share it with other members! I personally did this one time and except for some of the "SNIDE" comments I can say: "Been There, Done That" and it was fun to do! I guess if you gave Paul this "ONE" vote he still would have come up short !

boys boys. calm down now. no need to argue over this. everyone is a winner in the featured hhr of the month. we all made front page for 3 days to get some good show off of our rides. Kevin , you have a nice car. even though it looks to most people stock, its a great ride and set up. And yes, if i keep trying to be featured i will probably win someday, wether its next month or a few down the line, but i wont give up

This thread is a reincarnation of a thread from 6 months ago which was a reincarnation of a thread a year or so ago. A lot of bad feelings were generated by both threads.

Let's face reality, some people are voting on the vehicle, some are voting on the background of where the vehicle is parked, some are voting on the quality of the pictures and some are voting because of their relationship to the owner.

So why does it matter? I vote every month but I no longer say why, and I have probably used one of the 4 reasons above as the deciding factor or maybe a combination of them.

You can't force anyone on this forum to vote the way you think it should be decided.

Why don't we quit worrying about why people vote and just leave this alone. A lot of bad feelings were generated last time a thread like this happened and it's just not healthy for the forum. I put these threads right up there with the political threads. They just aren't needed.
