Logging in problems

I'm a relatively new member and love the site! However, it's driving me crazy. why do I have to keep logging in almost every time I switch from one area to another? Am I doing something wrong or is this the way it is for everyone?
Can anyone give me some hints?

Mine does it, too. Even though I check "Remember Me?" on the log-in screen, I have to re-enter my information when I go from, say, Classifieds to the Appearance forum. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong either.

Mine did that at first and then stopped, I don't think I did anything to make it stop, more like the "cookies" got all straightened out or something.

Mine use to do the same thing. I just logged in the saved the page as my favorites. Now whenever I get on im logged in and never log out.

If you are using Internet Explorer here's my log in routine. Now I only have to do this after I have cleared my cookies and history.

1) Log in to https://www.chevyhhr.net (note no www). This will take you to the home page.

2) I then log in and ALWAYS click the Remember Me box. I always use the log in box on the top right, not the bigger one in the middle of the page.

3) The site will display "Welcome ChevyMgr" and then go back to the home page. Sometimes I am logged in and sometimes I am not, but this doesn't matter, so ignore this fact.

4) I then click on the first Recent Thread, located on the right hand side of the screen. I will be taken to the thread and I will be logged in.

5) I then click on either My Posts or New Posts. I will once again not show to be logged in.

6) I log in again and once again click the REMEMBER ME box.

After that I never have to log in again until I clear the history and cookies.

Good luck, and may the force be with you.

Thanks Chevy mgr for the log in info. I cleared all my cookies and started over, also took your advice on logging in and so far it's seems to be OK
