Post time stamp: not always the same time

Found this interesting.
Some of us posters like to check members stats such as date/time when a member has added a post.
Saw these where the site listed my post with 2 different time stamps. One when I was logged in. The other when I wasn't.
It is the same post.

Don’t forget the time is mountain time not your local time.
I have noticed this issue before and it’s tough to get used to.

Actually it's Eastern and Central time on my post. Go figure.

OK. Time to strike up the "Too much Time on My Hands" song.
