site logs me out

its kinda weird but i type in my username and password and hit log in and it goes right back to the home page with me not logged in. the only way i can get in is if i click on a new post and then click on post new reply as if i would add a comment on a thread. then it asks me to log in and it works fine......:confused:

Has been like this for about 2 years now. Happened after one of the site upgrades.

I have a new upgrade on the way that will hopefully solve the issue
