I don't think it's right to "vote" for a Mod. I always thought the Admin should appoint them !?!

Besides, being a Supporting Vendor on this site - I can't be a moderator (It wouldn't be right).

Thanks for the thought though!

I agree with that and wondered why but didnt say anything. cant hurt to make your own case but seems the decision should come from the Admin or the Admin and the moderators

Ok here is the deal. The Voteing to get an idea of what our fellow members would want to choose. Our Admin JonyyB still makes the final choice. The voteing is for an audience vote. A mod can be choosen either by Popular vote or by the Chevyhhr.net (staff)

Exactly what are the duties/responsibilites/obligations of a mod?
Any payolah? Or is it just the status of saying 'Moderator' by avitor?

Things That Mod's would have to do

1) Maintain a friendly environment
2) Look for News (Post things about the HHR or other related stuff)
3) Carry Professional Representation
4) Visit Daily

There is no pay involved.

I am a mod at another site. But i dont feel I have been here long enough to put my hat in.

But reading alot of the post, I think Capt. would make a good mod.

I agree with Mike. Being a vendor, it just wouldn't be fair. Me, no thanks. I am not the guy with the automotive answers. I do think the Mod should at least own an HHR. I think the Captain should throw his hat (and perhaps a few body parts) into the ring. He's already chairman of the ChevyHHR.net Entertainment Committee.
