if i vote no

i would be saying that i support a web site that promotes illegal activity. i say no , for the same reason i do not give to drunks/addicts/beggers. i will not be a part of there death. speeding kills more people than ANY other thing driving related. there are many places near where i live to race legaly. idiots fly down the road i live on and have rolled and hit trees in my front yard , a few more feet and they would have came thru the house. i bet you would love to see a video of that? it's so entertaining to see some one get decapitated.

It is one thing to encourage it and another thing to ban all discussion/video. Like the photo on the 1st page, some may learn from an open discussion.
We have enough regulation in this country, don't let this site start legislating.

I'm on the fence, on a lot things regarding restrictions. Should we start banning political view points, firearms discussions/pictures because some individuals believe that the forum is not place for that? C***P I'm tired of the nanny-state creeping into everything. Post a disclaimer stating that the forum does not officially condone illegal street racing and be done with it

I'm on the fence about this as well.. I dont think it is wise to restrict a topic, becuase what would be restricted next. It seems like we are all reasonably responsable adults here who already have an opinion on street racing one way or another, and is reading a thread about it really going to make you go and do it? Illeagle street racing is illeagle for a reason and rightfully so. But like Chad wrote in an earlier post, if you dont want to read the thread, dont click on it. Also remeber that if it is discussed here,it does not mean the admin of the site or the site itself promotes it.

The site already has rules regarding many of the things stated in this thread:

Do not make posts that incite arguments, or any post that turns to arguments and flame wars (ie: religion, abortion, racism, illegal conduct, and so on). Posts of this nature will not be tolerated and can result in the immediate closing, deletion, or editing of the post and the suspension of the posting member's account.

Politics is not listed but falls into the same category. When signing up for this site you agreed to abide by these rules.
