Youtube BBCode Embedding

I know vBulletin has mod to allow YouTube videos embedded into forums via BBCode

I know SimpleMachines forums have a mod to allow just the like of the YouTube video. vBulleting has a special BBcode [youtube]Youtube video code here (eveything after v= in the link)[/youtube]

Would be pretty cool to have it here

I like the idea but that is something that the site owner would have to implement.
I know he is concerned with downloading times.
However, since from when the guidelines for image sizing and stuff like that were created, the Internet speeds have dramatically increased.
All I can do is put the word in for the suggestion.

I run it on my message board and from what I have seen on other boards, it runs pretty smoothly. I'm pretty sure the embedding is hosted from YouTube still, so if a user clicks the topic, it won't slow them down if they have dial-up because the video won't play until clicked.
