Question IPod Using the AUX Connection?

Hey guys, my dealer and the manual mention being able to use my IPod with the Factory Audio System, but.... I'm not sure an IPod can be connected using the AUX input located on the front of the factory radio? Am I missing something here? I've searched online and haven't found anything available for my IPod to connect as indicated. Only FM transmitters (which I already have) or complete systems that are integrated into exisitng system (which cost $$$$$). To be honest, I am not Music/Electronic savy- put me in front of an Intel Server-- that's a different story.

You just need a stereo male/male line and you plug it into your line out/headphone port.

Be warned though, the shortest line at most stores, stereo and big stores, are 6' long. I found one that was 3' long online but I thought that was too long to be hanging from my dash. It does work very well though.

You will lose less quality than if you use the FM. But the differences are so small that rather than have to futz with the long cord, I just used the FM

Use mine all the time. Sound is fine. Got the patch cord from Radio Shack online.
