Disco HU Display?

I recently encountered a Disco HU Display. It was literally flashing, to no particular pattern, or anything. But it was strange. First time it happened. Maybe 20 seconds long.

Has anyone experienced this?

Possibly a loose connection? That's the 1st thing that came to mind Officer.

Electro-gremlins ........

So, when did this start compared to the last time it was at the dealer for the reduced power issue?

Okay.... did you mention it when it was in last time? Not that they would be able to "reproduce the issue" but at least it would be on record if you told them and they checked it out......

It's got to be a loose connection/bad wire somewhere.

By the way.... did they fix the "power reduced" deal???? I missed the outcome of that.

Welp, here's the verdict...

Quoted from the Service Paper
"Cause: Engine harness chafing at TPS signal J7720 Bulletin 08-06-04-022B 9527 WC 2.20 : Repaired wiring to PCM Connector,, Replaced 4 terminals"
