Wondering if the fitment from a 09 equinox navigation unit is the same measurement as our radios. I would think so, since the center console is pretty much the same.

Here's a stock picture of it. I would love some feedback so I can get more information on this! I do not want an aftermarket unit since I like the stock look of everything for the car.

It looks like an identical fit. However, most of those systems work through the BCM which would require different software than the HHR has?

 

I couldn't even get my 09 radio switched into my 08. Good luck finding a Dealer who will reprogram that for you......

The aftermarket has adapters to make all the features work, and you can play movies on the fly...... Looks way smoother than the stock setup to me.
