How about a Texoman?

We live in Southern Oklahoma. I work in the Dallas area though. I'm truly a Texan at heart though, 8th generation Texan by birth, but living in Oklahoma for my sweetheart and her boys. The agreement is, once the boys go off to college we will move back to Texas. However, we just closed on a house last week so who knows what the future holds.

We are a poster family for Chevrolet. My sweetie has an '04 Suburban, I gave my '04 Silverado Extended Cab truck to her 17 yr old and now we have my '06 HHR. I made some mods to the Silverado and I am looking forward to some things coming out for the HHR. Really improved the performance of the 5.3 L V8 on the truck... Hypertech Chip, Duals (Flowmaster), K&N and a throttle body block. Would love to do some of the same for the HHR, with the exception of the Flowmasters. Will probably stay with the single exhaust, but kinda waiting to see what kind of luck others have first.

I've been enjoying the forum here and look forward to reading more from other owners.

Take care

They can take you out of Texas, but they can't take Texas out of you! :thumb:

I'm a mere 8 miles across the boarder in KS. I'd love to take part in any gatherings you Oklahoman's put together.

I'm in Winfield. We're about 35 miles SE of Wichita. About 25 miles N of Ponca City. Coffeeville is a couple of hours east of us.
