you are in for some fun.... i installed my own running boards on my 09... would have been nice to know they mounted the original skirting with 90 million body clips, after breaking a few here n there, it didnt seem to make a difference for the running boards are bolted on quite securely even without body clips (i lost 3 per side- balanced them out so they were evenly placed)

roughly a 2 1/2 hour job by yourself

DOH... are you wanting OEM boards? or aftermarket customs?

I did not use any of the body clips. I just looked over the install slip and can't find anything about the reinstalling the clips. where do they go? less then a hr.

might be a design change from 06-09, but my running boards were riddled with em - bout 8-9 each i think, i know there were just as many places for them as on the stock molding in the same places as the stock molding, now the tube style obviously wouldnt have body clips

basicly i just put the clips back in to keep the chance of rattle down once i get the audio system installed- dont know if they are 100% necessary, but it did lengthen the time it took to install the boards ~_~

There were two designs, don't recall when they made the change.
