Hello Fellow HHR Owners,
I was finally able to take the car out on track to see if the upgrades I had made were worthwhile (Turbo Upgrade Kit, Hahn Intercooler, Hahn Exhaust System, Hahn IC Piping, & K&N Air Filter)...and it was a resounding yes. I would also add that GM did an excellent job with the suspension and ride of the car...given there were quite a few turns on the 2.5 mile track the car handled beautifully.
The only problem I had was that I failed to check my break pads out before I went to the track...so needless to say I had to replace my front pads before heading home.
In case you are interested there is another ECR Race Day event on June 12th which I plan on attending as it was a blast to drive the car as the track tested the car as well as my own skills.
Can anyone tell me what break pads are best to replace the OEM for the HHR SS?
