Darn. I only wish I would've logged on and seen this sooner. I was on leave that weekend too so I probably could've made it. Oh well lol. If you guys don't mind an import or 2 cruising with you next year, I might come on out seeing as how it's only a couple hours away from me. That and I've always wanted to drive the dragon. Plus now I've got the MX-5 so it would be cool to see how a car that's built for corners handles all 636 of those.

If my dad isn't busy that weekend I might see if he wants to come out with the Mazdaspeed3 too cause I know he's also been wanting to drive it.

Awesome. I'll put it on my calendar for next year then and get in touch with my dad and see if he wants to come as well.

Yeah, I wish I had an SS too, but unfortunately when I was looking all I could find were ones that were either out of my price range, had too many miles on them, or were beat on pretty bad. Then I stumbled across a great deal on my MX-5 and just couldn't pass it up lol.

I hope that I'll be able to come as well. As long as there's nothing going on with work at the time, I should be able to. So fingers crossed on that. Also I took a look at your pictures and you're absolutely right, it does look like a ton of fun. I've always heard great things about it though.

Sadly, cj krause, the organizer of the event passed away 2 years ago. I don't believe anyone took over for him so the event is pretty much just a memory.

Odd that you would inquire about this since today, Sept. 17, is the same date that cj died.

RIP cj. You are truly missed on ChevyHHR.net.
