Florida HHR's
the date is Sept. 19th and here is more info and the times that are being discussed....
The Museum is at the intersection of FL state road 484 and I-75. The places to eat very close are Sonny's BBQ, Cracker Barrel,KFC/Pizza Hut combo, Arby's, McDonalds and several small restaurants. There are 5 gas stations by the intersection and 3 motels. Micro-tel and Hampton Inn are two of them. The museum itself has a nice picnic ground. There is more there than drag racing. Included in the admission is also an old car museum on the grounds (next door to the drag racing building) that has an old gas station ( we used to call them filling stations), lots of cars from the 30's 40's 50's etc. For those arriving before noon, we could meet at the Cracker Barrel for brunch around 10AM maybe.

There is a car show elsewhere in Ocala that same day. But there is nothing at Gartlits. (Except us if meet there.) I'm cool with just meeting, and, or going to the little show. I found it when I Googled "Car show, Ocala, Sept 19th".heck the show out and see what you all think ?
