High Falls sounds good to me.

 

Well, things are starting to gravitate towards High Falls State Park, any more suggestions? Stone Mountain perhaps?

 

Doubt I'll make it out to a meet in Macon. If you guys decide on something closer in to Atlanta I'd be up for it.

 

I dont think anyone said Macon. High Falls is near Griffin

 

There has to be a little effort put in by those who wish to really make a "club" I'm a member on another car site and we have members who come from TN and SC to be at our meets in and around Atlanta. We try to move the meets around to please every one, but, sometimes that's not possible

 

Theres a place, I havnt been yet but its close to Stonecrest mall off i20, some mountain with a long bike trail and park. ILL look in to it and get back.

 

Hey just got an email that this thread was being updated. Yea, I still own my 2006 HHR, and will probably have it for quite awhile longer yet...

I'm up in north Sandy Springs, up 400 around the Northridge/Morgan Falls area... I'd be up for something local in the Atlanta area, but any long distance driving just isn't in the budget right now as we're prepping for a road trip out to Columbia SC in a few weeks...

Weekends are usually best, but don't always work out depending mine or my girlfriends work schedules here, as we're sharing my car between us since she doesn't have one.

 

Sorry...it's 30 minutes north of Macon...hour and half drive for me. If the girlfriend wanted to take the kids and make it a day I may be up for it.

 

Well, still starting to jell an idea here....more thoughts?

 

Havent thought much on a meet lately, I am kinda refraining from comments for now since Im driving a few hundred miles every weekend lately.
We went to the NE GA SWAP MEET in Commerce at the dragstrip. Oh what a @#&*?*! Disappoinment, got there at 12:15 and it was wrapping up wth there were no food vendors, no car show, looked like maybe 15 sellers showed up. I drove 3 hrs for nothing. Stopped by J&J flea mrkt in Athens, again wth happened, that place used to fill up. Strike three for disappointment wasnt going to get me, went home to a nice pot of yankee chop suey
