Heathen - CFL

the thread for Black Swan gave me inspiration to make a thread for Heathen, so I can keep track of all little things I've done, and people can feel free to ignore it instead of me glomping onto the What Did You Do thread

bought: 5/31/2019

replaced air filter and found pliers in the engine bay
fixed the button on the dash compartment
black silicone license plate holder
debadged the rear/sides
not-stubby-but-shorter-than-stock antenna

removed the pinstripes

chrome-vinyl'd the bowtie on the steering wheel

8/25/2019 - rolled 100K

christened + triple goddess/pentacle decal in rear window

got a NOS set of gray AW mats

silver-vinyl'd the chrome trim on the back

black vinyl'd the rear bowtie

Nice, but it really wasn’t just my idea, It’s not really a build like Lasater’s V8 panel. So , I didn’t move it to the new Mods-builds area of the site!

smoked my markers/reflectors today... didn't go super blacked out, didn't want to completely negate the reason they're there

so far the hub(s) themselves seem ok *knocks on wood* but I have a bad ABS sensor on the LF, I already got the hub, and already have the grille, just waiting on my buddy to have time to come over and help me... he's still on furlough, so I offered to $ if he would do it, plus I need help getting my Monte started, I've got spark and fuel, but can't figure out why it will crank but not stay running... I grew up with a mechanic dad and have spent a decade in the auto industry, I know enough, but I don't consider myself a mechanic

Spark and fuel? Double check the distributor timing in the Monte, what engine? 305, 350, 4.3 V6?

305, he ran when I parked him, he was my daily before my HHR, but between my dad dying and then getting laid off I let him sit too long between starts, got a new battery for him, but now he just cranks and won't catch

Stale fuel in the carb. You might need to drain the tank and refil with fresh fuel
