Wow, another tropical system hit you after Fay? Is Flo her twin sister?

Seriously though, Fay only dropped a couple of inches here in Miami on Monday night. Winds only made it into the 40 mph range, though we had the house prepped for at least a Cat 2.

Here's what happens when you don't respect Mother Nature.........

The Melbourne area got up to 30 inches of rain when Fay stalled overhead. I have a "high" lot, so the street fills with water then drains to a nearby canal once the rain stops. I had hurricane shutters up, which were not really needed as the winds weren't that bad. But you never know what will happen when these things blow in. You cannot install shutter when the wind is blowing or I'd be like the kite surfer getting caught in the wind.

All gone for now.

We didn't fare to bad here in Cape Coral... It was pretty windy with some rain. Actually i think we got more rain yesterday and today than when the TS came over. Good luck to all with this weirdo storm. i cant believe its gonna hang a U turn and go back over The north end too. It should get a DUI.
