AZ owners - tint shops?

I need to get the SS tinted sometime in the next couple of months before summer hits again. I know tint shops can be pretty hit and miss, so does anyone have recommendations? I would prefer somewhere in the Phoenix area, but I'm down in Tucson often enough that I could go somewhere there as well.

 We had our windows tinted at the dealer (Thorobred Chevrolet) back in '05 when we bought the HHR, So I don't know who actually did it. They have someone come in to do the job. But I've had 2 or 3 cars tinted over the Years at Budget Window Tint, right here in Chandler. They're at 150 W. Elliot Rd. Last time I had it done was in 1998 though, but I just sold that car several Months ago, and the tint job was as good as new. Just be sure to get the good stuff, not the cheap tint that turns purple, or gets bubbles in it, after a few years!;)

Thanks. Yeah the cheap tint is what I'm worried about. The tint my Camaro had when I bought it looked great at first, but slowly got a ton of bubbles in it. Is there a certain brand I should be looking for, or will I just have an option of "upgrading" the tint when I take it in?

 I don't remember any brand name when I had the last tint job done at Budget Window Tint back in 1998, but it seems like they had three grades, "Qualitywise", so I went for the best since I was planning on keeping that car for a while! (Which I did, for 11 Years!). Did the same with the HHR, which I hope to have just as long also...Only thing I do remember is, the cheaper stuff is just dark, but not reflective. What I had put on is sort of like a mirror when you look at it from the outside.;)

Yes, there are grades of tint. Where I had mine done there were 3 as well. Also make sure they offer a lifetime warranty. Any reputable shop should do this.

I wasn't aware of that. I'll definitely look for one with a lifetime warranty then.

yeah the quality of that place has gone downhill. i had my tint done there back in 03 and it was pretty decent for the price. however, back in early 07 i had my s-10 tinted there and it bubbled within a week plus when i noticed the bubbles i also noticed that there was sand in between the tint and the window. i pointed this out to the guy and said i wanted it redone and he refused and said it would smooth out within the week. i showed him that it was sand and he disagreed and said it was bubbles. needless to say it took about an extra week to get my money back. i didn't even let them take it off, i paid another place to redo my tint and didn't mind paying the extra for removal of the old.
