Another free SS Part - maybe
 

CGS Performance is looking for an HHR SS to find out if their NA HHR Air Intake will fit the SS or if they have to engineer a new one. Anyone willing to volunteer their SS for a few hours to a day will end up with a very low price intake or likely a free intake. Here's the deal and contact information , quoting an email from Casey Scranton at CGS:

Bill,
What we are going to offer to the HHR SS owner is the following:
If the intake needs to be redesigned then we will give the vehicle owner a free Intake System, and we will need the vehicle for one full day.
If the intake system that we have fits, then we will offer the owner an intake at cost if they are interested, and we will need the vehicle for 1-2 hours max.
If you can help and put this info up that will be great.

Going over on Tuesday.

Went to CGS today for test fitting the SS for an intake. Casey also wanted to do a test fitting on his axle back exhaust so I came home with one of those.
The new exhaust is not loud but gives a nice sound.

Thanks again for your help. CGS just made their product announcement for the SS intake and exhaust. We have them available in the performance section at HHRBOUTIQUE.

Not equipped at this time to do a sound clip.

Any dyno time for numbers?
