I was simply in awe!
I'm born and raised in Southern California and never knew about this little donut shop in Huntington Beach.
The strip mall shopping plaza parking lot was packed full of cars! It was well worth waking up at 4:00AM and driving just over an hour for this 'experience'. (and meeting up with my HHR friends too!)
Boyds was very impressive as well!
I've uploaded the pictures I took.
I"m sorry gang, I really didn't take too many pictures of HHRs though.
Here are a couple of teaser pictures. Click the link to go to the photo gallery to see them all.

Now these people are REAL car guys and gals. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Missed you Mitzkity. Got to meet some new friends and it was great to see eveyone.

Hi All,
It was great to meet other HHR owners and talk about the little cruzers.
I have been going to the donut shop for 21 years. Started when I bought a house across the street from John Swanson, one of the original founders.
I knew he was a car builder too, but wondered why I would hear his cars at 6AM every Saturday. He told me to come down ( 1/2 block away ). Been going ever since when I can. Great people, great cars. The best thing is you can bring whatever you built there is always someone who has interest.
Great to meet you all.
