I've never been involved in a large meet, so I would be curious to hear more about the different types of meets. Don't mean to be so blonde about it...but can someone elaborate?

Yeah, as a newb to this stuff, (and also blonde) I didn't realize there were different kinds... for profit? Who's profit? I thought this was always just for fun? I am only posting now to see who's interested in what because I think it would be fun to caravan with a group...don't care who or where but I have always wanted to drive Route 66.

Scaleguy you are 100% right. I Don't want to offend anyone, but I just can't make a National event in MO. Not that I don't want too, but I just can't. I have no right or business complaining about it not being closer to me. So..I hope that everyone has fun, and I will wish I could be there..but it ain't going to happen! I will attend the events that I can, and that is all I can do. I Love the forum, and live to meet all of you fellow HHR crazy people, Todd (Uma)

Todd, no one should be offended at all. One of the goals of HHRitage is to rotate the national event every three years: west coast, midwest, east coast.

We know that everyone won't be able to drive halfway across the country, but many will. we're in this for the long run. We wouldn't have gone to the trouble of filing as a nonprofit corporation if this was a one time shot.

So I guess then when we start looking for folks to join in the planning for the west coast event, we can count on you?!

The wife and I are seriously considering going but it's too early to say for sure because of work. We have never been to Branson sounds like a great time.
