Headlight bulb

Changed my first Headlight bulb on Kris' car today....man they could have made that a little easier! My big hands did not help but what a pain. todd

I know what do you mean... I think that the purpose to remove the wheel well is to go to dealer service.

I agree, they could have made it more accessible. Todd

Yeah, changing the headlight bulb is real pain in the neck. It would be nice if you could replace it under the hood or something. And I agree, they probably make it difficult just so you go into the dealership to get it done.

I think with a little thought, a trap door could easily be cut in on each side, for easy access & pit stop light changes, imo..

But sometimes I think too much (my head hurts)..;)

If it makes you feel any better on the wife's new Fiesta you have to remove the headlight to change the bulbs or upgrade to HID like I did.

Well OK, so it shouldn't make you feel better. It's easier than our HHRs.

Hah! You should listen to Dorian after putting on 2 solid rubber bike tubes, and then having to take them right back off an hour later. And Todd, he has your hands. (sorry, off-topic as usual).

Quit yur bellyaching....I am a 62 yr old grandma, and I just got done changing both R & L bulbs. Took 1/2 hr, and that was only because I don't have the strength in my hands anymore for pulling out those gromets under the front fender. I watched a gread video on Youtube on how to do it without removing the wheel. Yes, it is a lot easier on my S10, but not that bad. :-D
