I'm up for JFR too (would be easier to do that then go to a NV event). I have tentative plans for that weekend already, but not in stone. I'm for sure going to Cheri's since she is kind enough to (put up) invite us to her home Although I may miss most or all of the morning portion at Angelo's due to a work commitment I'm trying to get out of.

For some reason I've suddenly become 'cooler' with my (cynical college) students by participating in these events!
Amazing how those cynical college students are! LOL. You become "Really Cool" when you let her take your HHR out on a date to impress the boys. However...they never seem to remember how to put gas in it??? Go figure. Todd(Uma)

I never know whether to be offended or flattered when they tell me they want to buy their "mom's" an HHR one day!

But yes, they do enjoy me taking them for rides around the UCI campus!

Well, I try not to act my age, but since I just passed the forty mark, there are not too many of those youngsters "rollin" on 20's, or have half the "sounds" I do. LOL. So when they say "they would like to the buy their "Moms" an HHR one day"....You tell them, "your Mom's might be too old for an HHR"! We are all young at heart, and I have a feeling you are quite a bit younger than I am, so put those kids in their place. The HHR is cool for all ages. Todd (Uma)

Well I'm a dork and had my checks with me the whole time
Check went out for the pom-pom girls today...

btw, Todd (Uma) thanks for the compliment, but I, er, am on the other side of my mid-forties! But I think the fun-cool-factor of our little cars/trucks/suv's or whatever they are called this week is what makes us all feel younger! Heck, I certainly don't feel old!

And the only children I have, have fur and bark and meow!

Well Angie, being divorced twice and single at my age, I miss my cat the most, he was 16 when he left me, and he saw me through alot of hard times. He has been gone for almost two years and I still cannot bring myself to replace him. Our four legged friends are overly underestimated in the cycle of life. Enjoy the little fuzzy ones! Todd
