Lakewood Ca Car Show

I talked to the parts manager John Boimilla at George Chevrolet today they are sponsoring a Car Show and he wants some HHR's to show up he stated that they will have a special trophy for a HHR class. He has a nice silver panel HHR. If you would like to attend let me know I want to get at least ten cars. Read the flier and you can also reg on-line. If you are planning to attend please let me know and John said he will make it special if enough car reg.

God Bless!

August 19th - plenty of time left to register!!

To SoCAL people, I spoke to the John at George Chevy, and YES, HNE is absolutely right, they are so great at this Chevy dealership & he's such a nice guy and really wants a good showing of HHRs for this "Classic" Car Show. I know the brochure doesn't seem like it wants to invite "newer" cars, and we talked about this. He says they need to re-do the brochure that it's very misleading and we are very welcome. In fact, there will be little prizes in a category just for us!!

So I will be registering this week and I hope to see some more people strolling in for it. Why not? Good people, good cars, bring the cameras and the WATER!!!

Sounds like fun. Unfortuntly I will be in the Great Smokey Mountains. Enjoying some of the best chicken and dumblings on earth. I hope to met some of the HHR folks in Tennessee. We are going to rent an HHR so we will still fit in.
So ya all have fun at the car show.

See ya down the road
