No vids, I was alone. We made quite a few runs by the end of the night, and my best time came towards the end of the night when everything was hot from making circles, but I only brought my time down from a 9.22 to a 9.15. Tires didn't make a huge difference out there at Barona as I never had problems with traction there to begin with. I think at Racelegal, however, they would make a huge difference, so I will try them out there next time and see if I can get some more runs in and figure out how to get some better times.

That set up from what i saw was capable of an 8.9 at a lower altitude track. He was power braking as high at the car would let him. Maybe if he would have turned everything off by holding the traction control button for 10 seconds or what ever. it might have been able to launch it a bit harder. Jason your MPH was nice. IIRC 77 and i think you hit 78mph at the end of the day. But with that MPH that car is not capable of an 8.6. When i ran 8.54 in my stock GTO i was trappng 83.7, which is along way from 78. Still for what it is and at baronas alitiude 9.1 is a very nice number! That stage 1 is a very nice upgrade for the HHR. Very nice solid gains out of it. I am considering in getting one. But I am afraid of hurting the tranny....

That would be fine with me, just let me know what you did so I can replicate it! I don't claim to be a drag racer, I try, have had little experience and no training, so I'm sure I could be doing something different to get better times!
