Well, as one of the people who is known for doing this, I can tell!

I don't know what any of that means? How would i get Hijacked? LOL like i said this is my first forum. And maybe the last weekend in April we could set something up!!

Quick version: we are a pretty active group of HHR enthusiasts and usually g2g about once a month. Usually for no reason other then to eat a burger.

What happens is if a SoCal member starts a thread to g2g, it will eventually get "hijacked" by someone posting something totally unrelated to the original thread (as you can see by reading this one!). Not blaming anyone here, I am quite guilty of doing it!

So, this thread was hijacked, but is now back on track (I think).

Long version:
As you can see, you tossed out an idea, someone else runs with it, so it has now taken on a life of its own. We'll argue about this for about a month before we can decide on a date/time/place, who is going, where will we meet, are we going together. etc., argue again, probably change the date/time/place at least 2 more times....and in the end, we'll meet and have a great time!

Hope that makes sense! I tend to write too much sometimes.

And late April sounds good too! Toss out some dates and ideas and I think we can get over 200 posts easily by then!

Maybe we should start using the SoCal Social Group thread for hijacking!

just gives me another excuse to use my garmin. I only been down there a couple of times, for Sea World, but that was a few years ago. The one time I walked to Tijuana and that is where my first ever case of vertigo kicked me good. Nothing like being sober and moving like a total drunken wreck. I do have a 2 week vacation coming up in May that I haven't made any plans for yet.
Keep the ideas comin'.

Ya sometime Late April is a Great time down here to hit the beaches. I like the idea of Mission Bay... there are Great burger joints out in Pacific Beach! Even Del Mar is a great place!!! I might try to make it to the next one here up near Dana Point. So i can meet some of you!!! Im so excited for this!

So anything new on this? I remember something about late April and meeting in mission beach... maybe we could even meet in Del Mar then drive down that Beach town! Really Show off the goods!! then to Phils? i can map something out! i just need to hear when is a good date?!
