So, where do you go for tires

My 2007 LS came with the Wheels off of an LT, so I have 17"s on here.
I am not sure how that happened, since 16" are listed on the original build order, but there they are. I got the car as a GM Certified used, so someone must have played swap at the rental.

I have over 30K on the tires, and they are starting to get towards the end of their life. I just priced tires, and got sticker shock.
So, where do you-all go for tires?

thanks,
Matt

Check out some general tires exclaim uhp. I have them on my Charger...great tires so far and very reasonable. Just not good in snow, but I don't think you need to worry about that. About $90 per tire.

American Tire Co. Not the cheapest but the service is great. I purchase Faulken tires and they seem to wear pretty good.
See ya down the road

We have an American tire near us, and the service has been great!

I go to Tire Rack, pick my tires and get my price. I then go to my closest local tire dealer and let him take a shot at Tire Rack's price. You must also figure another $25 extra for mounting, that your local shop would charge mount Tire Rack's product.

I love your signature pics.
We had a '48 pickup in the family for a very long time. I miss the old beast.

Matt, are you and the Mrs. Costco folks? Check them out too. Plus they will fill your tires with the scented nitrogen of your choice.

Thanks Don,

We are, but I just tried Costo... I have an LS with 2LT wheels so their answer was:

Optional Equipment: P215/50R17 90T
We found 0 results that fit your vehicle.

How about Discount Tires? They have em in Costa Mesa

i have used discount tire here for our aveo and i have used belle tire for my jimmy (which the hhr replaced)

no need to replace my hhr tires yet but discount tire did a good job when i was there. Needed new tires for the aveo. Went in, they only had a few choices because honestly the tires are tiny. Went with a touring tire instead of the sport ones (sport my a$$....). The guy wrote it up and said it would be $420, i had a coupon from a different discount tire (specific location) just to see if it would fly, got it online by searching for it. He said they couldn't do it, i asked if any other discounts were possible, he looked on the computer at a few things and said how does 375 out the door sound? I said it sounded pretty good and i was done in 20 minutes.
