Good thought about the Intake Air Temp sensor. But if was disconnected wouldn't throw a code ?

Yes it should trigger a code if it’s disconnected or faulty

Spark plug question

Just got my 08 SS last week and been fighting a running rich codes so I just thought I would change the plugs and this is what I found. Fouled plug

What plugs are those, the whisker looks different. Hhmmm. Wrong plugs?

I think it would look better in focus. If those are the wrong plugs, boy is that a very cold heat range.

installed the upstream o2 sensor and replaced the plugs and so far so good . Thank for everyone's help. Now on to the mod's.

Well. At least tell us if those old plugs were the wrong ones. And, also let us know if the replacements are the correct AC Delcos.

The old plug was a AC Delco number 41-108 also has number 12620540 on them. Rockauto listed them as for an 08. The ones I purchased are 41834 and they are correct for the car.
