Boost lag

My 2009 has had boost issues. Some days it works great some days the turbo dose not kick in with no check engine light on. Any suggestions?

Welcome.

If you do a search for "boost issues" you will find a fair number of threads discussing the various boost problems members have encountered.
Ie:
https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/ss-s...-issues-60303/
https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/2-0l...w-boost-60226/
https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/ss-s...roblems-59979/

there are quite a few SS owners here that have a lot of experience with them, I'm sure they can offer some great suggestions.

mods: this probably should be moved to the SS/SS Specific Service Issues/Repairs section.

We need a little more info. But I think what you've given him whopper may answer his question. What was the normal boost?
