Caliper bolt needed

My top bolt came out on the drive to work today.

Can anyone tell me what bolts will work?

From what I looked up, the slide pin can also fail?

I'm gonna assume the previous owner tightened it down too much cause I never had this issue with my 2010 LT with 225k.

You can’t drive it with a caliper bolt missing. So, just take out the remaining bolt and find one that matches it.
Or, head to a wrecking yard.

Local auto parts stores will have them, or you can buy the pin/bolt kits (which is a better deal for all the parts you get).

Here is one at NAPA:

We would have to know if this is front or rear. If front, Brembo or not. I don't know if they're different, they have different part numbers. And it's become difficult to find the proper diagrams, so it may take time.

Stock SS disc brakes. I took a bolt from the rear top bracket to make it to the store. It's the shorter bolt. I figure the physics of it would be fine at least to the store 10 minutes away.

I did notice the passenger front would not tighten all the way. Is this because of the insert being stripped? How do I properly install it? Going with the napa kit.

The bolt threads into the head of the slider pin.

If it wouldn't tighten, then either the pin threads were stripped (unlikely) or the pin was spinning. The head of the slider pin has flats that hit part of the caliper to prevent spinning. Maybe the problem is with the flats being rounded out or something similar.

For the SS non Brembo the rear slide pins are different from the front ones . These bolts are torqued to only 25 ft/lbs . I suggest you replace the pins at all 4 corners just to be sure. If you have Brembo calipers up front , check the bolts .

Got home early today. tried to install the napa replacement kit bolt in the rear. It's very short. I can barely get a few threads on, but I did get it tight. Are the rear's longer than the front?

Also, I tightened the top front bolt and I guess I just didn't have the flat sides locked into the bracket to prevent it from tightening. The thread seems fine on the front. It must have been the alignment wobble I've been having that jolted it loose. Going to have it looked at soon and see what is causing the wobble. Front tires aren't wearing bad at all, but when I drive over some uneven road or small pothole type stuff, the front end is pulled back and forth lol. Does this sound like a rack and pinion issue?
