forge bpv question(s)
So I changed my oil today and decided to get some high temp grease and grease the the bpv. It seemed to have been hanging up...So sure enough I open it and its pretty dry so I grease it up, and the same thing seems to be happening where the boost fluctuates randomly and sometimes it gets stuck all together...
so just to rule things out I try the original bpv spring which is green in color, and all my problems went away, and in fact its hitting higher boost numbers and holding better...so do I just have the springs reversed?
another weird thing is randomly the valve dumps the boost while me being at full throttle. the engine stays at the same rpm, just no boost. But I can actually hear the valve open, and dump the boost, as opposed to a loose charge pipe clamp... The thing I am noticing is if I have the pedal down to the floor its dumping the boost most of the time...90% to the floor its way better....I am thinking maybe I have the "compressor hitting the lower map sensor" but I cant confirm it because I ran out of daylight and got cold...
