I’m wondering how the left side hits but the right side didn’t.
Checked my old invoice from TireRack:
17x7.5 Sport Edition F7 Silver

The hubs were installed at separate times, the left one (the one that's hitting) later. Basically I had the right side done when I put the snows on, the left side done when I had the summer wheels put on. I can only guess that the second hub was defective, or built to sloppier tolerances, or somehow damaged in installation. I'd have a hell of a job proving that now though.
I put spacers on yesterday and got the snows back on. Driving fine for now. Thinking maybe I'll take another look at the hubs in the spring. I don't have a driveway, and my options for borrowed space to work on the car myself are limited.

The stock 18's are tight with Brembos. About a 1/2 inch clearance between the caliper and rim.
Didn't know he was running his snows on 17's. With those there was probably very little clearance and no room for error or loose hubs.

I somehow got the idea he has 17's, but couldn't remember if 18 was the right size. I was waiting for you to chime in.

With 17's, you'll need a set of feeler gauges to measure the rim/caliper clearance.

Again, if you have the part numbers of the hubs that were installed, post them up here. We may be able to make some sense out of this.

Yup. Originally, there was perhaps 2mm of clearance left. But they ran fine that way for four winters. Now of course, zero! I put 5mm spacers on and they seem fine for the moment. When I can, I'll grab the invoice and see if I can get a part number for the hub they used. Interestingly, though they no longer list these rims for an SS, Tire Rack does still offer 17" winter rim option for SS w/Brembo if you use their finder feature.

Oldblue, I've actually been up in Welland a bit this last year, so I may catch up with you yet.

I have the 16 inch Torq Thrust M's on my LT, and you guys dont even know the half about caliper clearance. I maybe have like a credit card or two worth of space.
