I have long been an idea to throw my glove box and set on it position a tablet computer. Box is doing badly, but my computer is useful for street Job.
One problem - computer must have a cover. That in the stowed position torpedo was smooth and did not attract the attention of thieves. And in a combat position the cover folds and display stands upright.
In the U.S. there is such a product? Additional equipment?

It's a small custom fiberglass speaker box that I have two 3 1/2' two way mids mounted in.

How were you able place the cords for the gauges without being seen?
