GMTU Issues...grrrr...
The dealer replaced the ECM. They said it's working correctly now. About to go pick it up, so we'll see. They told me the tech spent the afternoon on the phone to GM Engineering and thats how they decided the ECM was bad. I'll follow up with a report when I get back.

You're right Chevy, these do not have adaptive ECU's. I knew right away the service mgr was blowing smoke when he said that. It sounds like the tech that did the inital flash messed up one of the other cals in the ECM causing it to not read anything correctly. He essentially bricked the original ECM.

And mine was done 3 years and 36k mi ago. I had a known tech who is well versed in LNF do the install. Before that he did many St1 and St2 on the Cobalt LSJs. I've seen most failures are attributed to workmanship issues.
