Update..... Last night After checking and tightening battery terminals as well as the 4 fuse box bolts all of the codes cleared on their own. Didn't have to clear anything.
This morning i figured i would try to take it in for year inspection. Drove the 20 miles to the shop without issue. No aggressive driving, and no roads over 45mph. Passed inspection and i'm now good for the year.

3/4 of the way home i pushed it a little bit harder and the P0299 returned. At idle the vac is around 20, and during acceleration boost sits around 0 and goes no higher than 5.
Could this be power related or typical P0299 troubleshooting?

Upgraded MAP sensors were spliced/crimped. Done before the plug and play kit was an option.
Car battery is 2.5 years old but is in great shape. top of the line, 84 month warranty so it's pretty decent.

Solder and seal all of those splices. Crimps tend to corrode over time.

The OBD-II code P0299 indicates a Turbocharger/Supercharger “A” Underboost Condition, meaning the engine's computer (ECU or PCM) detects that the turbo or supercharger is not producing the expected amount of boost pressure for the given operating conditions. This can lead to reduced engine power and trigger a check engine light. Common causes include boost leaks (leaks in the piping after the turbo), a malfunctioning turboor supercharger, a faulty boost pressure sensor, or issues with sensors or control valves.

Yes, get those splices cleaned and soldered. Another potential issue is the connector for the lower TMAP bumping into the AC compressor when the engine shifts under acceleration. Then another potential issue is, the tab on the new lower TMAP sensor should have been trimmed off prior to installation.

Also, the bypass valve may be faulty, or have the incorrect spring installed.

It's uncomfortable digging around in this cranium trying to remember all the issues that the upgrade caused in the wayback.

Obviously, your car was struck by lightning.

Not many other explanations for both solenoids frying at once. Three of my HHR's got a new solenoid, one or the other, never both. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
