HHR SS strut assembly

I need to replace my strut assembly, I am told I need part specific to SS version of HHR but cannot locate ... any advice on where I can buy them?

I got mine from Rock Auto,

The SS uses the FE5 Struts

ACDELCO Part # 506667 (Right)
ACDELCO Part # 560581 (left)

Are there any assembled front struts available for FE5? (springs and shocks assembled).
I see that crateenginedepot has them but only if you buy the entire front and back sets..
HHR FE5-FE5 Strut,Shock,Spring Plug and Play System FE5-FE5

Not that anyone has posted about. I don't know why. If you could buy the springs then the other parts are available; shock & mount is all that's left.

If you have air power it is not really all that dangerous to compress the springs. The compressers they sell/loan have lots of safety features. That being said; if it scares you at all, don't do it.

I've seen Rock Auto has 2 different Quick Strut assemblies, one by FCS and another by SenSen. $75/side for the FCS and $76/side for the SenSen. Not sure if they are worth the money as a single Delco strut is $92 as mentioned. Anyone have experience with either company's parts?

I've never heard of these companies, I tend to stay with sources I know and trust for great products. the listing canroc posted is for GM OEM parts for the 08 and up FE5 suspension for the SS model. a bit pricey but OEM!

Anything that cheap is a collision part. Only used in order to sell the car to the next sucker. Or a typo and not "complete".
