HHR SS Swap into a Panel

So long story short is I stripped my rusted out 2010 hhr ss out down to the shell to swap it into an ex fire department panel hhr. I have everything installed and it fires up, but it runs very rough and only with throttle input. I have a single engine code P0193 which is high voltage on the fuel rail pressure sensor. This was never a problem before and the car ran perfectly fine before the swap with no codes and never this one. I have cleaned all the engine grounds, and made sure everything is plugged in, I'm at a complete loss as to what to do to fix it and am looking for any help or advice someone may have.

The Panel was also a 2010 but its irrelevant because I gutted the panel completely as well

I’ll guess that you swapped all the electronics and wiring ? This would include all the wiring harness’ and control modules ?
If the car starts then you must also have the dash RPD hooked up and operating. Pull up the fuel pressure readings on the RPD and see what it is. Should be around 2200 or so with a cold start up.

P0193 means that the FRP SIGNAL voltage is high. You should ha a "reduced engine power" message.
Any chance the connector is not in the correct orientation? Or, wires are frayed and shorting, pin 2 & 3 shorting could do it.

I love the fact that someone with the tag firemangeorge is commenting on my post about transforming an ex fire vehicle into a panel ss! But i never thought to look at the RPD but if its saying high voltage I don't think it would show a reading. I'll report later today when I'm working on it.

Yes I have reduced engine power message. I was trying to use a multimeter to check the voltage to see if it was the connector or if maybe there was a bad ground somewhere along the line but my multimeter leads are to chunky to get in the little hole.

It is the center pin on the connector that has more than 5.7 volts. That would translate to a fuel pressure reading of infinite. In order for that to happen the 5 volt ref needs to be more than 5.7 volts, which would mean that the 5 v ref is connected to 12 v. That would be the gray wire at pin #38 on the ECM.
I am assuming that you are using the ECM and the original 2.0 wiring harness.

Yes I took the entire harness out of the SS, body harness and and obviously the engine harness as well. The 3 wires coming out of the FRP connector are all white. I have multi tool connectors coming in the mail for tomorrow because my current leads could not fit in the connector holes. I also read the abs codes and it's showing c0899 and c0035 but I replaced both front wheel bearings for the second C code.

I'm thinking this has to be a ground issue or maybe even a pinched wire somewhere because the only code the SS had before hand was the wheel bearing one. When I changed the bearings they both looked very rusty and corroded so they needed to be done but that code is still there.

The C0899 indicates a low voltage at the EBCM. I would suspect the connector for that and maybe the C0035. I don't recall you saying the ABS light was on.
Did you switch the fuse box ? Could be you didn't get the 4 bolts tight enough.
