Since you don’t seem to be listening to the folks on this forum, I’ll say it 1 last time.
Compression test.
And a picture of that destroyed plug too.

Wet with fuel would indicate a no spark problem, the injector could be struck open, the wire harness could be faulty to the injector or to the coil have a look could be broken wire

I'm Sorry, I forgot to mention I live way out in the mountains and don't have direct access to some things! I know a compression test is one of the 1st few things I would have done... I didn't have a Tester till I can run into town tomorrow..... So yes until I could do a Compression test I thought I would try to eliminate as many things as Possible.... So that's what I've been doing:) doing the best with what I have till tomorrow.... and like I said I just bought this car 3 months ago from the original owner .... with 150,000 miles on her you'd never know it ...it literally looks brand New:) I Spent weeks detailing and making it mine! It just had a $3200 Timing chain job done a month before I bought it.... 1 of the tensioners came apart! on the receipt They replaced the pick up tube and the oil pan? it was a fella a little older than me and he had taken great mechanical maintenance Care of it but not a detailer! it came back to life quite nicely! I hit a rock wall and landed on my roof August 18th I should have been killed .... my mint Imperial 2LT (my Baby) Was demolished 10 days later bought the SS .....I've been walking on cloud's everyday Thanks again! I will do a compression Test Tomorrow:") Hoping I can save my new Baby:)

Remove the fuel pump fuse and relay before you do the compression test. Look in the under hood fuse box

P0301 is not a generic code. It is cylinder #1 specific.
And a $3200 timing chain job just means someone got taken to the cleaners if they paid that much.

It might have involved bent valves if the tensioner broke.

My SS had a bad injector,, dumping fuel into the cylinder. I wouldn't run the engine again until you can eliminate this as a diagnosis. All that fuel can wash the lubricant out of the bearings, then you'll have a boat anchor.

Well after today that's what I was leaning towards? I haven't done a Compression Test will be doing one tomorrow? Fingers crossed! To me from what I've been able to conclude it seems like a ton of Gas in Cyl. 1? After the compression test I will be getting a set of injectors! I had a similar situation on my Xterra , new injectors took care of it .... Thanks for the input! Tony
