Knock sensors P0332

I have low input codes for both knock sensors
sensors are new, fuel has been drained and refilled with 91 as a precursor, I have checked all plugs and wires with a multimeter and they all come out to spec. Anyone know the problem?

Welcome to the site, there is a possibility of loose connections or bent pins in said connections, also a loose ground wire.

Both wires originate at the ECM, different connectors. Doubtful ground is involved. Most likely the ECM connectors or a frayed wire, I would look at the part of the harness that bends around the EVAP purge valve bracket.

FYI. This appears to be a SS, correct ? (the OP didn't include any vehicle info)
If so, then the wiring system is going to be a little different than the regular HHR's.

Yes it is an 08 ss. I checked voltage at the pins for the connector. They were fine. But I will check the harness in case the problem is intermitten or from vibration

What does voltage is "fine" mean?

Possibly he means continuity is fine, be that would be ohms .

I have there was such a misfortune

the treatment turned out to be ridiculously simple - just an abundant filling of the connector with thick dielectric grease

Knock sensor 1 code went away for no apparent reason while sensor 2 code remains. I went ahead and replaced the whole wire and sensor again. Code still remains. Is this a ecm issue? I even went as far as to send 3 volts through the wires that run to the knock sensor and read voltage at the other side and there was never a break in voltage no matter how hard I wiggled and pulled. The connection is not the issue. I've done everything 5 times I know for a fact something else is the problem

Ok, let’s see now, what are the specific codes?
I could speculate, but I don’t want to start you on a wild goose chase.
