loss of brakes

have 08 ss when you first start car and drive off brake pedal to floor hard to stop car after a couple minute brakes are normal if i sit and wait a few minutes after start up and drive off brakes are normal its just driving off after start up

If you have the automatic trans, you probably have a car that does not have the "recall' for the vacuum pump install. Do a search on this forum for the info.

the dealer adds an electric vacuum pump , to supply more vacuum to the power brake vacuum booster for cold start. I didn't get it done, because I don't want any wires hacked, so, I'm just aware that on the 1st brake push, in the morning, you have to use your leg more. by the way - all vw's & bmw's a/ turbo engine's already have a vacuum pump factory installed & they all leak oil & fail - - I know this because I work for an extended warranty company & do these claims all day long.
