Need help figuring out what this noise is coming from. VIDEO

Hey y’all, I got a 08 Chevy SS here. Recently did the timing chain job as well as VVT parts. Everything runs great except for this rattle that has appeared after the engine has warmed up, and starts at around 1500 RPM. It’s a very deep rattle And it can be felt just lightly through the gas pedal. The video makes it much louder than it really is, but that’s good. Good so you can hear it well. Hoping it’s not something serious. I did recently run two cans of gum out through the gas.

Can’t hear it. Hard to hear anything if you’re inside the car. Try opening the hood and recording there.

I can hear it very well. The first small part is smooth and then as I accelerate, you can hear the lower pitch rattle.

Pretty short clip, but I think I hear what you’re talking about. I don’t know, but can’t say that it’s not an exhaust leak. If so, due to the proximity, it’s completely plausible that you would feel it in your right foot.

Well if I can’t hear it then I can’t help you. I’m not going to try and guess.

Timing chain job? Did you replace all guides and the balance shaft chain and guides? Did you install a ZZP front guide? How about that front guide replacement bolt?
Everything installed and all fasteners torqued to specifications?
did you change the oil and filter?

maybe you could try going someplace very quiet and listening to it at different volumes. It’s a peculiar rattle. One that does not happen at idle, but definitely happens under load.
