Replacing Timing Chain

Replacing Timing Chain
So today I noticed on a cold start I had some "rattling" coming from the engine on my 2008 HHR SS. I know this likely leads to the tensioner being bad. I thought about replacing just that but at the same time my SS has 150k on it and it is likely that my timing chain is due for replacement.
My main question is would I be ok with getting the Cloyes 94201SX set and not replace the cam and crank gears? I would also go ahead and replace the balance shaft chain and water pump while I am in there. I have searched around and I see the recommendation to replace the chain and guides but no mention of the cam and crank gears. I will also make sure I replace the timing chain guide bolt with the Dorman part as that seems to be a common failure.
Anyone have anything to add?

I do not have "SS", I'm just "LT." But I think, in this case there is no fundamental difference ...
If the chain is weakened, the ignition will be broken and you will receive a "check engine" on your dashboard. Rattling - this scares the first time. I remember that I was very frightened and I was shaking evenly until I realized it was rattling the air duct mechanisms under the dashboard. There are plastic flaps, and they eventually begin to respond to temperature changes. It still happens from time to time ...
But ... Of course, the source of the rattling must be determined unequivocally. God saves man, who save himself

The SX kit is for the 2.0 2.4 and 2009 and later 2.2 VVT Ecotec, the cam gears are different.
The 9-4201-SX for the timing chain
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/clo-9-4201sx
and the 9-4202-S kits for the balance shaft chain
http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/g...nce+shaft,5184
are the ones you want.
The 9-4202-SX doesn’t include the crank gear or the balance shaft gears
