Question O2 Sensor Help.

Well I went to put my zzp DP on last week and well I could not get the old O2 sensor off so I put it in the vise and tried a pipe wrench, O2 sensor socket, Torched it (around it), Used pb blaster so whatever let it sit for a day and still nothing so I gave up and just bought a new one so I bought the bosch O2 which I later foundd out is junk from CSS.net, ive had it on the car for a day and bam CEL...I have the ZZP DP with the Angled Defouler. So for the *ell of it I stopped at Autozone and its saying the o2 sensor is reading that the car is running rich. So IDk if its the Bosch sensor or normal. The lady cleared my CEL and its hasnt came back so idk. Im getting tuned soon so im not sure if that will eliminate the CEL or if its the dumb bosch sensor.

I have been running my catless from ZZP for almost a year with the stock sensor in place. Only once in a blue moon does it throw a code. I vote that the Bosch sensor is the root of your problem.

When I first put my Dp on after a day or two it was throwing codes, turns out it was loose.

Have you checked that?

No ill check it though. Since I cleared the code it hasnt came back so idk. I bought a OEM sensor yesterday just in case. Now that ive talked to more people including you guys they said their Dp's throw codes now and then so it might have just been the computer. lol Thanks though

You best bet is a code scanner that can clear codes. Any parts store will have them.
Can't tell you how much money one of those have saved at the dealer. Just don't leave it plugged in all the time. My dealer hates that.
