The apillar and the cobalt guage is a female so they work... In an HHR the Apilar has a female and the guagenhas the male..therefoee i have 2 fwmale ends.
Oh Don you are the greatest!! I didnt see that before and i just left my place... My girl was trying to prove her worthiness to me lastnight by helping me install back seats in my Panell SS and she helped me look for the fuses to fix.. im gonna call her and ask her to see if it works...lol... Should i hahaha..im gonba let u know if that fixed it Don. Thank you so much..ill keep u posted!!
Hey Don, Thanks for the effort and assistance but unfortunately i changed the #29 fuse even though it dodnt look blown and that made no difference.. still no RPD or DIC. The DIC still shows miles/km, tells me to check my tire pressure and doors ajar but nothing happens when i hit the info button or hold down info and enter button for 2 seconds to try and clear the warnings or turn on/off a specific option. What about removing battery cables and try to "clear" the ecu that way??? Maybe it will reset it or something?

I know im an idiot sometimes... You know its like my brain shifts into "10yr old boy at xmas" mode and i get all excited and do stupid stuff then regret it later... Im the one who needs the lobotomy lol. So unplug the neg and/or positive cables?
Remove the negative cable clamp on the battery itself.
I thought three 10mm bolts and a harness and the coil pack is out on my 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra
the mount touched the positive at the starter and lite up a small fuel leak I was investigating. Burnt that one to the ground!
We all take short cuts, do things that are really dangerous without thinking the repercussions or consequences.
Don it was fuse #16 brother... It was blown...i changed it and voila!! It works again as well as the DIC...thabk you so much my friend... I was seriously worried i screwed something up badly and u took that stress right off of me... Thank you, for real!!
Jeff
