Not to knock the LNF, but it seems they dont have very reliable turbos. I remember my dad used to have an old 1989 Ford Probe Turbo, and it gave out at 250,000 miles via a bad clutch. Turbo was running strong. I hope they make the newer turbo engines more reliable, because it looks like you cant even buy a car without one anymore.

Donbrew, my comment about the 2k was parts and labor.... I have had 3 GM dealers quote anywhere from 2100-2400.00 to do the repair. (parts AND labor)

Any shop could do the job, no special skills required just a good tool kit.

Or give yourself a few hours, and a trip to harbor freight for whatever tools you dont have
