Help with my problem list

I have a few issues I'd like to fix. Anyone have any input? I'd like to fix it in this order because of inspection, then I'd like my car running perfect before radio.

rear led tail light is out does anyone know where I can get a single led assembly versus all 4?

Suspension is clunking I found that end links are loose. Does that mean i need new end links and bushings? They had to come undone for a reason right?

Grinds into reverse sometimes just had clutch replaced

gear box feels shorter on left side than going all the way to 5th and reverse

shuddering at about 900 1000 rpms

vibration when ac is on

speedometer jumps when letting out of clutch

aux cord only plays sound not voice

I've already replaced air filters, flushed coolant, and replaced clutch. Please help me hhr people!

One LED light, unlikely, but maybe someone has one.
replace TTR links first , then fix the clunk in steps, swaybar bushings next 23 mm is the size

Should I go for the moog kit or warranty it?

Since you have a warranty, use it. But if you have a deductible to pay, it's probably not worthwhile. The Moog parts are cheap!!!

Engine vibration with A/C and shuttering at 900-1000 rpm might be bad engine mounts - you should check them.

If it is grinding going into reverse and it shutters on taking off (or 900-1000rpm), you should take it back to whoever changed the clutch and have them check it out.

the aux cord only plays sound not voice - well it really would help if you made mention what it is hooked to - at both ends of the cord.

Do you mean the CenterMountedHighStopLight? Not LED stock. The tail lights are not either.

I am guessing you think you can patch your phone into the radio via the AUX input? Forget it, never heard of such a thing. If you had bluetooth, the stock BT is "Phone only".

You evidently ignored my suggestion about ball joints causing clunking and death.

End links come loose when sloppy mechanics don't bother to use a torque wrench.

A digital Owner Manual is available via a link in my sig.

Rear LED tail light out. I would check the wiring/power/ground before blaming the light itself. LED tail lights don't burn out very often.

"gear box feels shorter on left side than going all the way to 5th and reverse"
Most likely the shifter is broken or badly worn inside. It has plastic disc type parts down at the bottom where the shifter pivots. Have seen others post up SS 5 speed shifter problems where those plastic parts had broken.

So. How many miles does this SS have on it ?

There are 2 cables for the shifter, they are adjustable. Here is a thread that may help.

Seconded. And, it could also be the cables need adjusting. The shifter uses 2 cables instead of hard linkage. If something there is broken or loose, it could cause the reverse issue, too, as well.
And, if you can't find enough here, the Cobalt forums have good info, too. They just aren't as friendly as we are...

Best of luck!
