Strange 5 speed leak

So a couple of weeks ago the SS started spotting the driveway. At first I thought it might be the slave cylinder, I had a weird day or two with it. But today I crawled under it, and the leak seems to be around the seal retainer for the drivers side axle. It's not the seal like you would normally think, but seems to be coming out the 3 retaining bolts. Anyone having any similar experiences. It is a 2010 with the LSD.

Not sure what 3 bolts you're talking about. Here's a picture of my SS 5 speed drivers side axle. I count more than 3 bolts on the seal retainer plate. Maybe you could be more specific about which bolts you think it is.
(disregard the yellow circles. They just show the drain and fill plugs )

I guess there are more than 3. But it seems to be coming from that seal retainer. No gators, but a raccoon thru the intercooler and a turkey thru the windshield.

The upper yellow circled item in fireman's pic is where you would put your finger in to check the fluid level inside the tranny. As you can see, a little more than half of the plate you are concerned with is below that fluid level. It is quite possible that the gasket for that plate is leaking.

Stange 5 speed leak gets STRANGER

So, I decided to see if I could stop my transmission leak today. It seemed to be leaking around the seal holder and it's 5 bolts. I removed the bolts, slide the seal retainer out a little, apply a little anaerobic sealer and retighten bolts. Simple enough. Then I figure I'll top off the level and run it for a few day before going ahead and change the gear oil out completely to see if the leak stops. My best guess was that I would be out about a 1/2 quart low. Remove the level plug and oil starts running out. I go get a quart container, I'm thinking how much can there be. Fill the first one and 1/2 a second.

WTH How could anyone gotten that much oil in it? Go to the dealer that services the car. He says engine has to be running to check the level. Anyone EVER heard that on a manual trans car? I say ok, but 1 1/2 quarts on a 2 quart system run out?

If the leak doesn't stop dripping it will go back next week.

Thoughts?

He must be thinking of the automatic.
Even with the engine running and the manual transmission in neutral there wouldn't be must spinning around in there.
I've never crawled under a running car to check the manual gear box fluid.
Just removed the plug as in Firemangeorge's picture and would not put my finger in just fill till the fluid jus starts to run out! Cold and on a level surface, in gear engine off parking brake engaged!
