just today, got my bar in the mail...absolute top quality and took all of about 20 to install(with ramps or lifting of any kind.....just slid uner on some cardboard and used the shipping box to protect the bar from scratches....cant wait for a "raod test". and, b/t/w...thanks to the guys at TTR for helping with a fedex delivery issue....went clean and green...thanks again.

The holes in the bar have a little wiggle room, so I just used the flats w/Loc-Tite..

Every time I check torque on the bolts, they are good..:twothumbs:

Just my .02

BLUE thread lock.......god idea. thanks.

have the new bar on and in place and i do feel a cornering difference. question is.....since it's not connected to the body in any way, how is it helping body roll..?? is it because the bar stiffens up the rear axle..??

It is bolted on the rear twist beam assembly. Each sway bar acts as an "arm", due to the 2 bolt design. The entire rear twist beam assembly is kind of like a big sway bar setup.

ahhh...got ya. either way....i do feel a cornering difference....seems to make driving "easier". i very quickly got used to it..........

Just worked out that it is a simple way to install it. Not all cars are this easy though :)

Well I have purchased a used TTR sway bar and it was 7 minutes to install , just backed up on ramps, placed the nut retainer bars, started the bolts with blue Loctite, torqued 'em to spec and done that was last April at another members home in Florida, and what a difference in handling loaded for the trip home and just me in the car for a little rump through the twisty roads we have here in the Niagara region. Awesome job with you're R&D TTR Thanks

TurboTechRacing 10-06-2013 08:26 PM

Thanks! More ready to ship too!

PaperChaseHHR 10-08-2013 09:12 AM

PaperChaseHHR 10-10-2013 05:38 AM

are they designed to work with aftermarket coils? wanting to match them up with a set of Goldlines.

Thanks in advance, Aaron!
